🕒 SPY Daily Overview – Week of June 30, 2025

The daily chart did exactly what disciplined structure-based traders wanted to see this week. After briefly stalling below key resistance levels, SPY reclaimed trend control and hasn’t looked back.

On Monday, markets opened below the 595.54 daily resistance but immediately reversed higher, reclaiming the 10 EMA and closing above trend support. That was the signal that momentum was shifting back toward the bulls.

Tuesday delivered the confirmation. SPY gapped up through the key weekly resistance zone at 605.06, held gains, and closed strong—triggering the breakout the structure had been building toward for weeks.

Crucially, no relevant timeframes were showing exhaustion on RSI or MFI, meaning momentum still had room to run.

The rest of the week followed the script:

• Wednesday: Higher open followed by healthy consolidation

• Thursday: Another gap up, clearing Wednesday’s high and igniting the move to new all-time highs

• Friday: Markets made the final push to ATH resistance, tagging our first swing target for the move and closing at new all-time highs

⚙️ SMA Structure Improving Fast

Last week, we highlighted how holding above the 200 SMA was critical to keeping the Golden Cross in play.

• Stage 1 completed: The 50 SMA has now crossed above the 100

• Stage 2 next: The 50 crossing the 200, which could happen in short order if this momentum continues

• The 100 crossing the 200 is the final piece to fully reset daily structure from very unhealthy to very healthy

If this sequence plays out, we could see trend momentum kick into another gear.
